Spaces Literary Journal
Spaces is a peer-reviewed annual literary journal runs by students at Trinity Western University. It first began in 2006, spear-headed by a few determined students who aspired to create space for dialogue. Spaces publishes poetry, prose, and visual artwork. The journal is supervised by TWU English faculty and professional writers.
This project took place between 2016 and 2017, I worked as Art Editor, gathering all poems and art submissions, and organising all pieces into a book, and designing visual identity and journal.
The cover art exploits the multiple meanings of the word, spaces. The aluminium forms are a reflection on a dual concept of space as biomorphic and geometric, real and imagined.
